On the night of his high school graduation party, Billy - a young man already wrestling with a future that feels both imminent and uncertain - uncovers a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother, the woman he was always told had abandoned him as a child. What begins as a discovery becomes a reckoning, launching Billy and his best friend, Scoot, on a journey that stretches far beyond the limits of their small world. As secrets surface and long-buried truths emerge, Billy is forced to confront the story of his own origin, his connection to a mother he never knew, and the aching, indefinable longing that has followed him all his life.

This is a coming-of-age story about identity and the courage it takes to seek the truth. No matter where it leads.

After years of serving as a consultant, in 2023 Keaka took over the development of Wild About You, including producing the World Premiere Recording and the World Premiere in Concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London in March 2024.

In October 2024, a 2 week workshop was held in New York City to further develop the book and story.

After revisions and book development, the team excitedly returned to London to take part in Musical Con in October 2025. West End talent Cassidy Janson (&Juliet, Avenue Q) and Dean John Wilson (Aladdin, Britain's Got Talent) performed songs from the show and audiences were treated to a special surprise performance from Chilina Kennedy, the composer.

The team is looking forward to a very exciting 2026 having just finished a table read and industry presentation and are gearing up for a return to Musical Con in London and a First Developmental Production in London in January 2027.
